Referral System
As you provide a quality service, you’ll no doubt already be receiving unsolicited referrals, which is great because referral business is the best type of business.
With referrals you rarely compete on prices or fees, and you’ll convert a far higher percentage of these prospects into clients or customers.
Given that referrals are so good for your business, it’s important that you actively seek referrals from satisfied customers.
However, rather than just asking for referrals on an ad hoc basis, it is far better to put a system in place.
The simplest approach is to send your client or customer an email thanking them for their business and to offer them an incentive for giving a referral.
The incentive must be sufficiently attractive, but of course still leave room for you to make enough profit on the sale – treat the incentive as an advertising spend.
If you received just one referral from 20% of your customers each year, just think how much difference that would make to your business!
